Wild Stone Adventure is proud to promote the Yala Peak (5732m) climbing package as this package is develop for those wishing to have easy climbing experience in the Himalayas of Nepal. Yala peak is famous, easier and non technical peak located in Langtang Region close to Kathmandu. Climbing this Peak does not requires previous mountaineering experience rather it needs you to be physical fit and have passion for adventure. Short yala peak itinerary is integrated with trekking to remote and spectacular valley of Langtang. The Langtang Valley exposed majestic mountains views, tumbling glaciers, holy gompas and wild yak pastures.
The 15 days Yala Peak Climbing commences with the overland journey to Sybrubensi and trekking through the dense forest of oak, birch and pine to Lama Hotel. During the trekking you can enjoy the traditional himalaya hospitality of the highland people.We trek further higher to Kyanjin Gompa passing the largest mani wall in Nepal enjoying the views of glaciers, icefall, birds and yak. We continue to Yala Base Camp where the panoramic Himalaya scenery of Langtang Lirung, Langtang Himalayan range, Naya Khanga and Shishanpangma await you. We establish our camp at the yala base camp and our guide will provide training on using crampons, ice axe , ropes and other mountaineering skills. Next day we climb the summit through the normal route. After conquering summit we head back to sybrubensi and drive back to Kathmandu
Our Yala Peak Climbing itinerary is designed by the expert peak summiter . Every steps have been planned with the high degree of awareness against altitudes hazard. This Yala Peak Climbing itinerary provide time for the acclimitization and climbing preparation at kyanjinGompa and Yala Peak Base Camp.
Day 1 : Pick up in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel
Welcome greeting at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu by the representative from Wild Stone Adventure. You will then transfer to the Hotel for refreshment where you will be served with welcome drinks. Depending on your interest and condition you can either rest, hang around the street or visit our office for rest of the day. Included : Welcome Drinks
Day 2 : Kathmandu sightseeing, climbing briefing and preparation
We will start guided tour to several major historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu Valley. The tour cover UNESCO World Heritage Sites including historical Durbar Square, Sacred Hindu Temple (Pahupati Nath) ,popular monkey Temple (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists Shrine (Buddha Nath). After completion of city tour you will meet with guide and other helping staffs, you will be explained with nature of your trek and your trekking gears will be checked. Included : Breakfast
Day 3 : Drive Kathmandu – Syabrubensi (1450m)
We start early drive to Syabru Besi, the starting point of the Langtang and gosaikunda trek. We head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi. Behind Trisuli Bazaar the road is tricky because of the grubby road. During the travel you will pass through many small villages on the way will be fascinating you with snippets.

Day 4 : Trek Syabru Besi – Lama Hotel (2480m)
Today we start our trek by crossing through the suspension bridge and heading precipitously along a stream. The River we are following is mostly the Langtang River. We can enjoy the walk going through oak, rhododendron and bamboo forests. There is also a variety of wildlife in these forests: yellow-throated martens, wild boars, langur monkeys, red pandas and Himalayan black bears.

Day 5 : Trek Lama Hotel – Langtang valley (3541m)
After breakfast we will continue our trek to Langtang village via Ghore Tabela. At Ghora Tabela the trail emerges from the forest. You can catch a glimpse of white monkeys and local birds. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months.

Day 6 : Trek Langtang village – Kyanjin Gompa (3900m)
The trail climbs gradually passing through the tiny village, yak pastures, stone-built houses, Chorten and passed a huge mani along a gentle path of a hill. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyanjin. Today is short hike, allowing time to your body to acclimatize and explore the surrounding.It is a dramatic setting, with snow covered peaks surrounding us in all directions. At this point, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Dorje Larpa , Langtang Ri , Langtang Lirung and several other peaks.This place is also famous for cheese and curd.

Day 7 : Acclimatization day at Kyanjin Gompa
Today we explore the Kyanjin Gompa. After the breakfast we hike to Tserko Ri (5000m) for for a breath-taking panorama of the langtang Lirung, Langtang range, Kinshung, Yansa Tsenji and the foot of the huge lirung Glacier. Back to guest house for Lunch having short rest and walk around the Kyanjing valley. We can visit the monastery and the cheese factory .

Day 8 : Trek Kyanjin Gompa – Yala Base Camp (5033m)

Day 11 : Trek Kyanjin Gompa – Lama Hotel (2480m)
From Kyanjin you retrace our route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. After lunch you continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel.We can enjoy the downhill for the fantastic views of mountain what we have missed on the way up.

Day 12 : Trek Lama Hotel – Syabru Besi (1462m)
The upper part of the trail is more beautiful for the panoramic view of mountains and green hill views. This path is broader and remains sunny through the different Shepra and Tamang villages. The first half of the trail is gradually down and then the trail does a steep descent to Syabru Besi The main inhabitants belong to the Tamang community who have adopted Tibetan lifestyle

Day 13 : Drive Syabru Besi – Kathmandu
After breakfast, we start our drive to Kathmandu. While on drive we can enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Kathmandu. The first part of the drive to Trishuli Bazaar is along a gravel and bumpy road. We then access a well paved road to Kathmandu.

Day 14 : Farewell
Your Yala Peak Climbing has come to an end. Wild Stone Adventure representative will transfer you to International airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Included:Breakfast
